The following Code of Conduct is intended to serve as a guideline for decisions and entrepreneurial actions on the one hand for our CCP Austria`s employees and management and on the other hand for external consultants or service providers. By signing this Code of Conduct, you are committed to the implementation and unconditional compliance with the behavioural principles of CCP Austria contained therein. CCP Austria is always keen to act in the best interests of its clearing members and their clients. As a result, particular importance is attached to avoiding and resolving potential conflicts of interest and the Code of Conduct contains comprehensive provisions on this topic. There is a corresponding reporting form in its Appendix II or here after, which needs to be sent to the Chief Compliance Officer of CCP Austria:

European Code of Conduct for Clearing and Settlement

Additionally, CCPA complies with the "Code of Conduct for Clearing and Settlement", which has been agreed by European Exchanges, Clearing Houses and Central Security Depositories on October 31, 2006. The Code of Conduct is a voluntary self-commitment of the undersigning organisations and defines guidelines towards a more efficient and integrated post-trading market in the EU.

The Code of Conduct was signed and presented to the EU-Commission on November 7, 2006 by members of the industry associations

  • FESE - Federation of European Securities Exchanges,
  • EACH - European Association of Central Counterparty Clearing Houses and
  • ECSDA - European Central Securities Depositories Association.
